Kalanchoe species are among my favorite succulents, and every time I find a new new I have to bring it home. I have wanted a Kalanchoe delagoensis for a long time, and I finally brought one home from Mast’s Greenhouse on 5-11-23.

I am making annual updates on this site, but I thought I would go ahead and get a page started for this Kalanchoe. I will come back later with more information and update the links at the bottom of the page.

Kalanchoe delagoensis (mother of Thousands) at 16 1/2″ tall on 10-24-23, #968-20.

I decided to move the potted plants inside for the winter on October 24th and 25th in 2023 even though a “F” wasn’t in the forecast yet. It was going to be rainy the rest of the week followed by cool temps and a “you know what.”

I always photograph and measure the cactus and succulents as I move them in (well, I don’t measure all of the succulents). The Kalanchoe delagoensis did very well over the summer and measured 16 1/2″ tall. Hmmm… I forgot to measure it when I brought it home…

I will finish this page as soon as possible…
