Cycadaceae Family

Cycas revoluta (Sago Palm) on 7-3-12, #107-67.

Cycadaceae Pers.

The plant family Cycadaceae was named and described by Christiaan Hendrik Persoon in Synopsis Plantarum in 1807.

As of 12-20-22, Cycas is the only genus in the Cycadaceae Family. Plants of the World Online lists 116 accepted species.

I only have experience with one species, Cycas revoluta (Sago Palm). You can click on the name to go to its own page.
