I bought my Coleus Flame Thrower™ ‘Spiced Curry’ from the garden center in Clinton on May 23, 2017. It was a good-sized plant already! I liked the color and the leaf shape so I had to bring it home.

The FlameThrower series is a patented trademark name of BallFloraPlant. Coleus Flame Thrower™ Spiced Curry is patented under the name UF12735.

 

Coleus Flame Thrower™ ‘Spiced Curry’ on 6-11-17, #343-8.

Coleus Flame Thrower™ Spiced Curry grows to 12-12” tall and should be spaced 16-20 inches apart. They perform equally as well in sun or shade. They also perform whether they are in beds or containers.

The Coleus Flame Thrower™ series are late to flower, if at all, which means they will bush out on their own without pinching. If and when they do flower, they should be removed to keep your plant looking it’s best.

I really like this Coleus for its great color combination of chartreuse-gold and maroon. It makes them really stand out.
