Gelsemiaceae Family:

Gelsemiaceae (G. Don) Struwe & V.A. Albert

The Gelsemiaceae Family was named and described by Lena Struwe and Victor Anthony Albert in Cladistics in 1995.

Plants of the World Online lists three accepted genera in this family. Genera include Gelsemium (3 species), Mostuea (10 species), and Pteleocarpa (1 species). Gelsemium and Mostuea were formerly in the family Loganiaceae while Pteleocarpa was in its own family, Pteleocarpaceae.
