UNKNOWN ECHEVERIA #1
In the summer of 2016, I went with my sister to a few of the Amish Greenhouses. Until then I only knew of one… Anyway, Mast’s Greenhouse had A LOT of nice succulents BUT many of them had NO LABELS! The plant in the above photo was labeled. but incorrectly. They said it was a Kalanchoe lucia… A Propeller Plant. WELL, that is incorrect because I have a Kalanchoe lucia and it is definitely NOT like this plant. The plant in the above photo, I believe, is a species of Echeveria but I could be WAY OFF.
The above photo showing what Echeveria’s do… Not Kalanchoe’s. Ummm, the babies in the pot are from the Kalanchoe daigremontiana.
After I moved the succulents into my bedroom for the winter, this Echeveria sent up 2 flower stems… It flowered then died from the bottom up… I thought I took photos of the flowers, but I can’t seem to find them. Anyway, the flower stems grew to at least 2′ long…

UNKNOWN ECHEVERIA #2
Here’s the other Echeveria I bought from Mast’s without a label. I looked in their supplier’s catalog and STILL couldn’t find it. This one was one of my “experiments” where I put the plant, pot and all, into the flower bed behind the old foundation (where my grandparent’s house was). It did pretty well there, actually. This plant died over the winter…
SO, if anyone has any ideas what the species of these two Echeveria could be, I would LOVE to hear from you. I posted their photos on a few Facebook Groups and got no results. That means one of these days I will have to do some further research….
